Hello! I got my start in Minneapolis at Huge Theater and Comedysportz, then made my way to Chicago to train and eventually perform and teach at iO, Second City and the Annoyance. After directing sketch shows with the Second City National Tour Company, I eventually got tired of cold winters and moved out west, where I went through the training program at UCB. Since then I've been coaching practice groups around town and teaching online.

I don't believe in there being one way to do improv-- there's just YOUR way, and my goal is to help you find it and hone it. Sometimes that means focusing on relationships and organic play, in the Chicago style. Sometimes that means finding the game and playing your perspective, UCB-like. Sometimes the best way is even through some short-form or clown work. Whatever helps you connect to your authentic, funny self.
