I'm Tamar and I've been performing long form improv for over 9 years, studying with the UCB for 8, and coaching for 4! I was a proud member of the UCB's Touring Company and the Mess Hall Teams Moon Hundred and Watson. Some other UCB credits include Cagematch, The Smokes, Sketch Cram!, Play by Play, and more! I have studied under Joe Wengert, Will Hines, Billy Merritt, Alex Fernie, Julie Brister, Drew DiFonzo Marks, Johnny Meeks, Betsy Stover, and like, so many more! It's insane! I also took master classes with Hoopla! in London, focusing on individual performance style. As a coach I focus on the start of the scene: initiating strong, grounding first beats, focusing on the one unusual thing and justifying up the wazoo! I also work on finding what makes performers unique and helping them use that to their advantage. The easier improv is, the more fun we can have playing with it!
