Sam Bodenstein

Hi there! I’m Sam and I’d love to coach or sub your improv team or practice group.

My improv training happened at UCB, World’s Greatest Improv School, WE Improv, Groundlings, and The Pack. I’ve also taken various sketch, character, and clowning workshops at places like the PIT, Shared Experience Studio, and with Chad Damiani.

My instructors have included Will Hines, Jim Woods, Sarah Claspell, TJ Jagadowski, Eugene Cordero, Neil Casey, Craig Cackowski, Bob Dassie, Corey Willis, Joel Spence, Jessica Eason, Monika Smith, John Flynn, Johnny Meeks, Anna Rajo, Jake Regal, Aman Adumar, Jake Jabbour, Ben Cassil, Marina Mastros, Karen Baughn, James Mastraieni, Wayland McQueen and Eric Moneypenny.

I'm currently on the UCB Lloyd team Jinx, WGIS Harold team Witness Protection, and several fun indie teams, some of which were former house teams including: Dr. Kleeb, Slonky, Customer Service, Zaby, Swiss Fish, Sandwich, and Doner!

The Harold, Monoscenes, Pretty Flower, The Movie, Slacker, Montage, Tracers, and the Grand Slam are forms I perform regularly, but I’m happy to tailor practices to whatever fits your team. My schedule has some flexibility and I’m down to sub in if you need someone!
