Hi! My name is Neiman, and I have been performing improv in LA and Orange County since 2015, starting with Comedy Sportz HSL and spending the last 7 years performing with ImprovCity in Tustin and the Improv Collective in Costa Mesa. Some teachers I have trained with are Monika Smith, Amir Khan, Anna Rajo, Ari Voukydis, and Devin Dugan. I try to provide a clear roadmap towards your team’s goals by equipping you with improv tools to solve different problems in scenes. I design clear, long-term rehearsal plans to ensure consistent scenework. I identify individual player and group gaps and suggest improvements that utilize the strengths of the team. In my coaching, I tend to prioritize group cohesion, listening, strong scene foundation, and emotion-based scenework. During the day, I am a social work master’s student with a psychology and philosophy background, so I enjoy detailed conversations and appreciate any feedback. I also love working with youth! If you have kiddos that are interested in learning improv, I have 5 years of experience teaching shortform improv to high school students.
