Eileen Mary O'Connell

About
Hi there-- I'm Eileen and I have 17 years of improv and sketch experience. I've trained under Billy Merritt, Rebecca Drysdale, Miles Stroth, Jim Zulevic, Molly Erdman, and more. My specialty is genre-based narrative improv. I'll show you how to find your character and how to USE your character to find position and find the game. And we'll have a blast doing it.
SCHOOLS: UCBTLA, Second City Chicago, the Miles Stroth Workshop (now The Pack), Drysdale Classes, Groundlings, Nerdist (now The Ruby), and the Improv Space.
I'm a proud member of Murder Murder (UCBTLA's very first ASP) and we run a monthly genre/narrative-based improv show at The Clubhouse, "A Lovely Night of Murder." We've performed to sold-out houses at UCB Franklin, UCB Sunset, and DCM. I also perform every other Thursday at The Pack with "Townies: The Improvised Play" and was a member of The Deconstruction. Before that, I was a performer and teacher at The Improv Space, where I specialized in The Movie.
I can also do:
The Harold
Pretty Flower
Monoscene
Deconstruction
Montages that don't even feel like montages
Two Person
The Mosaic
Armando
La Ronde
Tracers
I charge $50 for the first practice. If your team thinks we'd be a good fit, it's $60 after that.
