Originally from NY, Chad Shapiro is a SAG-AFTRA actor, writer, Improvisor and a nationally touring Stand-Up comedian for over 20 years. He is the Stand Up Program Director at Acme Comedy Theater. Current Host of Comedy Friendzy: Improv Game show. He has played the top clubs in NYC, LA and Vegas. Taught Improv at TVI Studios. Chad has trained and performed with UCB NY & LA, iO West, The Pack Theater, Second City, the Peoples Improv Theater, Chicago City Limits, & Comedysportz. He was featured on MTV, LOGO “Sketch Show”, NBC, MSG, and SiriusXM radio. Original Creator of the Standprov format 2yr mainstage show at the PIT, which got a development deal and shot a pilot. Chad has traveled the country performing and teaching Improv and was on iO West’s house team “Mixed Berries” and currently on Comedysportz Sunday Team, Oh M.D The improvised Medical Comedy, and The Duo "Marriage Buddies".
