Andres Parada

Howdy! My name is Andres, and I'm a Groundlings/UCB performer. I'd love to coach your improv team, practice group, or sketch team! I put a special emphasis on characters, physicality, and grounding scenes in emotional relationships.

I'm a performer on UCB's Harold team HEADBUTT, Maude team TRAINWRECK, and I'm also a BETTY alum. I've trained at Second City, and in clown. I also used to perform on Pack house sketch team, Gutter. So, whether you're a sketch team, improv team, or solo performer trying to work on an audition for JFL, SNL, or Maude/Character audition - I got your back.

Outside of character work, I also like focusing on pulling premise, finding game in organic scenes, and committing HARD to the base reality.

Above all, I am positive. My goal is to uplift you, and help you reach your improv/sketch goals. I'll give honest notes, but I'll focus them on how to get you where YOU want to go. I won't waste your time talking about theory for too long either. In my opinion, the best way to practice is to... practice. So whether we're working on Harolds, short form, or putting together a sketch show, we'll be doing comedy more than we talk about comedy.
