Tim Paul

Hey y'all, my name is Tim Paul and I am currently a teacher at Second City Hollywood, where I also coach the sketch House Team, HOT FLAN. In addition, I coach SNACK CITY, a Pack House Team.

I have been doing Improv for 16+ years. I started off in Boston at Improv Asylum, before a 9 year stop over in Chicago. There, I was a teacher at both Second City & The Annoyance. In addition, I performed with Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, wrote & directed for the Second City Network and was a Resident Director at the Annoyance.

I have taught workshops at The Annoyance NY, The New Movement (Austin), Improv Asylum (Boston), IMPRIDE (San Diego), San Diego Improv Fest, San Francisco Improv Fest, Providence Improv Guild, The Nursery (London), Recul (Bucharest), & Dublin Improv.

In Chicago, I was a founding member of SKINPROV, alongside Mick Napier - which is just improv in underwear. Very High Concept. Currently, I perform weekly at the Pack Theatre in Dingleberries, formerly Fearbringer, with Rich Sohn & Neal Dandade and with WHAT ELSE, WHAT ELSE, a stand-up show that is no homeless due to the closing if iOwest.

My solo shows were featured in both the 2012 & 2015 International Gay Theatre Festival in Dublin Ireland.

I enjoy coaching both improv & sketch, all well as folks interested in Solo Performance and creating original plays.
