Julia Meltzer

Hi guys, I'm Julia - I did 4 years on Harold Night, and now perform with Queen George and Toledo Rep. Before Harold Night, I was on a Mess Hall team. I'm on the UCB approved coaches list, I regularly sub Boot Camp and I have coached three Mess Hall teams.

My goal in coaching is to make sure you get to do the type of improv you want to do. To that end, I work a lot on honing your comedic point of view and clearly communicating it to your scene partner, the back line, and the audience.

For Harold and other premise-based forms, I work with teams on pulling premise, mutually deciding on a game, resting and playing the game with ease. For all forms (premise-based or organic) I work with teams on listening, support, commitment, and bringing your comedic point of view to your work.

I give a lot of individual coaching & notes. If you'd like to meet with me one on one and talk through your challenges, we can do a $30/hour session.

My rate is $80/2 hrs. ($90/2 hrs if at the UCB training center ~ $60/2hrs for Mess Hall or Harold teams.)

Available for ongoing coaching or subbing/one-offs.
